The FIREBOY plus from INTEGRA ensures highest application safety by providing continuous flame monitoring, overtemperature protection and user-defined, maximal burning times. The unit can be operated in three different operation modes – button, sensor or footswitch mode. The automatic ignition, triggered by the optical sensor or the foot switch, allows hands-free operation. All functions are easily controlled by the intuitive graphical user interface.
The FIREBOY plus is compatible to common gas types such as butane/propane and natural gas. If equipped with a rechargeable battery (optional) and a gas cartridge adapter, the FIREBOY plus is independent of any gas distribution system and power supply, allowing the unit to be used wherever required.
For heating applications or to flame-sterilize necks of large Erlenmeyer flasks, the FIREBOY plus can be equipped with a long burner head. The quick coupling of the burner head enables users to switch between flame sterilization (small burner head) and heating applications (long burner head) within seconds.
The smooth, chrome-plated metal housing is easy to clean and both UV- and solvent-resistant.
