This product is a rapid direct binding test kit for BOTH NT-proBNP and cTnI. Results are available in 10-20 minutes. It is very sensitive and easy for storage.
Intended Use
The One Step Test Kit for NT-proBNP/cTnI (colloidal gold) is intended for use together with the FIA8000 Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer. It can be used to detect BOTH NT-proBNP and cTnI in human serum, plasma or whole blood specimens in vitro quantitatively.
This test serves as an aid in the diagnosis, prognosis and evaluation of patients with suspected heart failure (HF), Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) and Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS).
Principle
This product is based on the principle of sandwich immunoassay for determination of NT-proBNP and cTnI in human blood specimens. Two monoclonal NT-proBNP/cTnI antibodies are employed to identify NT-proBNP and cTnI specifically, resulting in one or two purplish red streaks appear on the test line. The color intensity of the test lines increase in proportion to the NT-proBNP and cTnI concentration, respectively.
Then insert test card into the FIA8000 Quantitative Immunoassay Analyzer, the concentration of NT-proBNP and cTnI are measured quantitatively and displayed on the screen. The results can be transmitted to the lab or hospital information system.
