 (Click to see larger image) Narishige's MLN-2 is a three axis coarse/fine micromanipulator with a tilting stand attachment for improved stability. In addition to main features such as a fine movement unit operating in the same direction as the microelectrode, a rotation mechanism and pivot/tilt capabilities, the MLN-330 is mounted on a tilting stand. This gives better stability than simple bar attachment. The fine movement unit is mounted on the Z-axis and enables fine adjustment of height. The tilting stand features a foldaway angle adjustment pole, so as not to interfere with operation. *Changing the H-1 that attaches the manipulator to optional oil hydraulic micromanipulator such as MO-10 enables remote controlled X axis fine movement.
