Full size shield has a tapered midsection for easier access to samples. The front portion is angled back 12° over the six inch deep base. Measures 12" W x 6" D x 18" H x 1/2" thick. Shipping weight: 9 pounds.
USA Scientific shields are made from 1/2" thick premium grade ultra clear acrylic to provide greater protection than standard 3/8" thick acrylic. (Please consult your radiation safety officer for your institutional guidelines.) Other sizes and styles of shields can be made to your specifications.
