Lock-Top? microcentrifuge tubes have a security tab that extends from the front of the cap over the tube. The tab helps the tube stay closed and also helps prevent cross-contamination of either the cap plug or your gloves. The tube is designed to withstand centrifugation up to 17,000 x g and temperatures up to 85°C (not intended for boiling). Polypropylene.
