Level 3.0 Calibration

Includes cleaning, inspection, "As Found" readings, preventative maintenance, calibration and certification.

Pipettors are dismantled and fully cleaned. Preventative maintenance includes inspection of the piston, shaft, shaft coupling, tip ejector, plunger button, plunger rod, springs, seals and o-rings. A leak test will be done after reassembly. If additional replacement parts are required, you will be notified prior to calibration.

There are a total of 20 readings for inaccuracy and imprecision. Eight "As Found" readings, four at the nominial volume and four at the minimum volume, are included. After cleaning and preventative maintenance, 12 readings will be performed, four at the nominal volume, four at 50% of the nominal volume, and four at the minimum volume. The pipettor will be labeled with the date of service, technician initials, next recommended calibration date, and serial number if available. You will also receive a full preventative maintenance report, listing of any replacement parts, and a certificate of calibration.

Mail-In Service Information

All orders for calibrations must be accompanied by a completed decontamination form. The form can be downloaded here. Please pack your pipettors carefully to prevent breakage during shipment to us. Choose a traceable shipping method and insure your package.
