VWR? Aluminum Foils for PCR and Cold Storage provide a secure and reliable sealing area for all PCR plates.
Soft, non-permeable 38μm thick aluminum foils with strong, medical-grade adhesives eliminate the need for heat-sealing devices or mats during thermal cycling. Each foil provides sufficient sealing area for all PCR plates. Aluminum foil film is ideal for PCR applications where piercing with pipet tips or robotic probes is required for product recovery. Unlike comparable foils, these foils exhibit less tendency to roll back on themselves when removing the backing paper and they conform to the plate during application. All foils are RNase-, DNase-, and nuclease-free. Dimensions: 14.2x8.2 cm (55/8x31/4"). Length with end tabs removed is 12.5 cm (415/16").
