Grow your own sugar crystals without interference from strings, surfaces or other crystals. Science teacher Stephen Silverman developed a process in which seed crystals are suspended in gelatin. The crystals are then free to grow unobstructed, allowing your students to observe the formation of large, perfect crystals. Contains materials for four jars of suspended crystals (each jar has enough crystals for one class). Includes instructions.
