The Hematoxylin products do not contain mercury based oxidizing agents. The positively charged aluminum-hematein dye lake complex combines with the negatively charged phosphate groups of nuclear chromatin forming the distinct blue-purple color characteristic of hematoxylin stains.

Signature Series Hematoxylin 7211 and Hematoxylin 7212, a uniquely formulated product. Achieve fast and convenient results, while maintaining complete control over stain intensity with Thermo Scientific? Shandon? Gill? Hematoxylin, which has mucoid staining.
Employ a gentle, pH-controlled solution for bluing hematoxylin with the Thermo Scientific? Shandon? Bluing Reagent. It replaces the strong alkaline rinses or long tap water washes which may cause loss of cells or tissue sections.
Clearly differentiate cellular components with pink, green and blue-green hues utilizing Thermo Scientific? Shandon? EA-50 Stain.
