Hematoxylin provides extra sharp nuclear detail with notably fast staining times for increased productivity in the lab. This remarkably consistent stain offers a wide range of darkness, allowing pathologists the ability to obtain the desired personal shade, color, and intensity.

Harris Hematoxylin produces a deep purple stain and is generally used in regressive methods, although it may also be used for progressive methods in cytology and histology procedures. It is mercury free.

Eosin stains allow users to alter the intensity of the stain through varied staining times. The standard Eosin solution will result in a more lightly stained cytoplasm, and present with a more pastel appearance. The solution with phloxine will produce a redder color in the cytoplasm, particularly in connective tissue components.

All stains and reagents undergo performance tests and pass analytical chemistry standards.
