Description	Purity: > 95% by SDS - PAGE Format: Liquid. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0) containing 20% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl . DHPS, which belongs to the deoxyhypusine synthase family of proteins, is important for the first step in the hypusine biosynthesis pathway. This protein catalyzes the NAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue. Recombinant DHPS protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
