| Description | Antigen: mouse recombinant CaMKII ? Host: mouse, clone 22B1 ? Isotype: IgG1 ? Cross Reactivity: (+) rat CaMKII ? Application(s): ELISA, IF, IP, and WB ? CaMKII functions in neural synaptic stimulation and T-cell receptor signaling. The binding of Ca2+/calmodulin to its regulatory domain releases its auto inhibitory effect and activates the kinase. This kinase activation results in autophosphorylation at Thr286. PP1 dephosphorylates phospho-CaMKII at Thr286 and PKA prevents this dephosphorylation. |
