| Description | Antigen: rat recombinant CaMKII ? Host: mouse, clone 6G9 ? Isotype: IgG1 ? Cross Reactivity: (+) mouse, rat, and bovine CaMKII ? Application(s): ELISA, IF, IHC, IP, and WB ? CaMKII functions in neural synaptic stimulation and T cell receptor signaling. The binding of Ca2+/calmodulin to its regulatory domain releases its auto inhibitory effect and activates the kinase. This kinase activation results in autophosphorylation at Thr286. PP1 dephosphorylates phospho-CaMKII at Thr286 and PKA prevents this dephosphorylation. |
