Description	MMP-3 ELISA Assay Kit is based on the simultaneous binding of human MMP-3 by two different monoclonal antibodies, one coated on the microplate and the other conjugated with biotin; after the incubation, the unbound reagent is washed away through a washing step. Then the Streptavidin conjugated with the horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added; it recognizes and bounds to the biotin; after the incubation, the unbound reagent is washed away through a washing step. Following these incubations, a complex between the Antigens, the biotin, the streptavidin and the peroxidase is formed. The peroxidase in the bound-fraction reacts with the Substrate (H2O2) and the TMB Substrate and develops a blue color that changes into yellow when the Stop Solution (H2SO4) is added. The color intensity is proportional to the MMP-3 concentration in the sample. MMP-3 concentration in the sample is calculated through a calibration curve. Sample Types: serum, plasma.
