Description	Product Specicifcations Human IGFBP-1: Source: E.Coli Description : Recombinant Human Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-1 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 218 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 28806 Dalton. IGFBP-1 is purified by chromatographic techniques. Link to Sequence. Formulation: IGFBP-1 was lyophilized with 10mM HCl. Stability: Lyophilized IGFBP-1 although stable at room temperature for at least 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °!C for long-term storage. Upon reconstitution rHuIGFBP-1 should be stored at 4 °C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 °C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by HPLC non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel. Dimers and aggregates: Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. Biological Activity: IGFBP-1 is fully biologically active when compared to standards. Inhibition of IGF-I stimulated proliferation of NUC-1 cells: IC50 ~ 100 ng/ml. Inhibition of serum-induced stimulation of DNA synthesis in chick embryo fibroblast primary cultures: IC50 (1% serum) ~300 ng/ml. Endotoxin: Less than 0.1 ng/μg (IEU/μg) of IGFBP-1 .
