| Description | Mouse anti p53 [PAb240]: Horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This antibody recognises cellular tumour antigen p53, a 50kDa transcription factor and major tumour suppressor that plays a major role in regulating cellular responses to DNA damage and other genomic aberrations. Mutation of p53 is the most common genetic change so far identified in a number of major carcinomas. The Pab240 antibody recognizes an epitope between amino acids 156-214 on murine p53. |
