Description	The Eagle Biosciences Mouse/Rat IGFBP-3 (m/rIGFBP-3) ELISA Assay Kit is a so-called Sandwich-Assay. It utilizes two specific and high affinity antibodies for this protein. The IGFBP3 in the sample binds to the immobilized first antibody on the microtiter plate. In the following step, the biotinylated and Streptavidin-Peroxidase conjugated second specific anti-mouse IGFBP-3-Antibody binds in turn to the immobilised mIGFBP-3. In the closing substrate reaction the turn of the colour will be high specific catalysed, quantitatively depending on the m/rIGFBP-3-level of the samples. Sample Types: serum, plasma. Range: 0.78 - 5 ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.018 ng/mL. Time: 2.5 hours ? IGFBP-3 is the most abundant IGFBP in circulation and therefore of special relevance in regulation of IGF effects. This is reflected by the indicative value of serum IGFBP-3 concentration in diagnostics of growth disturbances.
